Galaxy Theatre, January 19, 2003

Street Teamers PFunkJazz, me, Corey Glover and David
the boys played for well over 2
hours,
and included a lot of new stuff (4 songs). The new stuff was mostly
bluesy to me, sounded good. The band was as tight as ever. The
Galaxy was nearly packed, good mix of fans, many singing along with
most of the songs.
Afterward, Corey mentioned the album may be out by fall, and they
will definitely tour in support of it, wherever they can. They may
road test some of the new material periodically in the Connecticut
area until then...
I didn't jot down the set list, but it was approximately the same as
San Francisco, although we did not get "Should I Stay Or Should I
Go", nor did we get "Tomorrow Never Knows" - both of which I
would
have loved to have heard.
Also met some cool folks from Sacred Ground, and Corey came out to
talk to the Street Team (which is when he talked about the album
coming out in the fall, etc.)
If you have a chance to see them before them, don't miss it!
